• In the event that an alternative pay rate is negotiated, all compensation terms must still be documented in writing and mutually approved by both parties prior to the start of production.

• Necessary expenses, including meals, expendables, parking, and tolls, will be reimbursed and itemized on the invoice. Mileage for each project will be charged at the IRS 2025 rate of $0.70 per mile.

• Audio files will be delivered at the end of each production day, whenever possible. If file transfers are delayed, a $50 upload fee will be added to the invoice, and a link to the files will be provided within 24 hours, typically sooner.

​

• In-person preproduction meetings are subject to a day rate, excluding kit rental fee, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. Phone, Zoom, or online meetings incur no charge.

​

• Audio project files are guaranteed to be backed up for at least one year after completion of the project.

​

• I work on projects large and small. If you have a limited budget, please don’t hesitate to contact me and I’d be happy to negotiate a rate that meets your budgetary needs. 

​

• Projects involving extensive travel will need to be negotiated individually.​

​

• A Certificate of Insurance must be provided for all projects.

​

• During production, any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment rented as part of the agreement will require reimbursement at replacement cost, up to $250. If costs exceed $250, payment of the insurance copay, set at $250 per incident, will be required.

• Cancellation within 24 hours or less will result in a charge equal to one full day rate, including gear, totaling $1,500.
